Mike Vasquez Makes His Big Come Back

This short film, (originally entered into the Asheville, NC 48 Hour Film Project in 2010), comes from my good friend, Matthew Yates and his colleague, Tighe Wachacha over at Twin Path Productions. "Happy Trail" humorously tells the fictional story of a music legend who went into retirement mysteriously at the height of his career. But Mike Vasquez's life of solitude on his rural farm isn't quite what he expected it to be. Vasquez is hassled daily by devoted fans begging for his comeback and other "musicians" who follow him around, hoping to be discovered. Makes you wonder, is this why we haven't seen Jim Martin come out of hiding?
