La Notte della Tempesta

Non serve dire molto, se non che questo festival, giunto alla sua terza edizione e per la prima volta in Friuli è uno degli appuntamenti più importanti per chi apprezza veramente il rock italiano contemporaneo; buona parte delle band che fanno parte del roster dell'etichetta La Tempesta, nata nel 2000 per volontà di Enrico Molteni, bassista dei TARM, saliranno sui due palchi preparati per l'occasione a Villa Manin. Dallo spoken word degli storici Massimo Volume al rock'n'roll degli Smart Cops, dall'acusticità "alt-country" dei siciliani Il Pan Del Diavolo alla complessità dei milanesi Fine Before You Came. E i padroni di casa Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti proveranno per l'ennesima volta dal vivo di essere una delle migliori band nostrane e che la svolta in reggae e dub del loro ultimo lavoro "Primitivi del Futuro" non ha fatto altro che aumentare le dimensioni del loro mito. Ricapitolando... Due palchi, inizio attorno alle 17:30, 14 concerti... CD in omaggio ai primi mille fortunati. Semplicemente da non perdere.

For English Readers: don't need to say much about this event because the names you see on the poster already speak for themselves. Enrico Molteni from the Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti band started the record label "La Tempesta" in 2000 with the aim of bringing the best Italian music to the kids. Two stages, 14 concerts, a free compilation-CD for the first 1000 lucky attendees. There will be a variety of acts, from the acoustic alt-country duo from Sicily Il Pan Del Diavolo to Smart Cops' straightup rock'n'roll music. From the spoken word experimental sounds of legends Massimo Volume to the complexity of Fine Before You Came's music, just to name a few of the groups that will form the line up of this event.
And of course when Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti will get on stage, they will show one more time how this is one of Italy's best live acts, incorporating their newly found love for dub and reggae as shown on their latest album "Primitivi del futuro".
